Help us support victims of crime
VOCAL ACT Inc. relies on the support and dedication of volunteers to ensure we can provide the best possible support to victims of crime. We welcome individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds, especially those with experience in criminal justice, social work, or administration. Whether you have a few hours to spare each week or can commit to a more regular schedule, we would love to hear from you and discuss how you can get involved. Ways you can Volunteer with us:
In Person
Much of VOCAL's work occurs in house- we are always looking for people to support our daily functioning in administration positions. We are also looking for committee members and client support workers. These positions do not require qualifications and on the job training will be provided depending on your existing knowledge and experience.
VIctim Support
Our clients require support in various manners. If you have the appropriate experience and knowledge, additional support providers are an integral part of our functionality. Psychologists, social workers and counsellors must hold appropriate Australian -recognised qualifications and/or equivalent tertiary education
Various others
We have an array of other volunteer positions, such as gardening, cleaning, technological (PC) support, fundraising, policy and procedure updating, newsletter coordination and more.
